This is my DPS. Most of the magazines i looked through had a simlar design to this. As i said before there aren't many hip hop magazines around so i had to look at other music magazines to see the style. The magazines i focused on were aimed at a simlar age to what mine was and wasn't a genre that was completely different to mine. To make them want to rerad it i havent put too much text in and i have spread it baout the page and made it look more interesting. i did this becuase when i buy a magazine i dont wish to just see blocks of text with no variation i would just get bord reading it and move on.

This is my front cover of my magazine 'Flex'. to make this i used photoshop using many different editing techniques. I have learnt a lot more since my pre lim task on how to use photoshop and i think you can see the vast improvement compared to it. Also i learnt how to make my front cover stand out. For example i made my title white on the blue background as i think this is the colour that would most stand out. Also my story headlines are in orange which go well with the pink t shirt.
